Last week, Kim Pease traded real estate signs for Last week, Kim Pease traded real estate signs for hiking boots, a backpack, and the mountains of Colombia. 🥾⛰️

What drew her in was the hike. What stayed with her was everything else.

The Terra Venture trek through the mountainous Antioquia region pushed Kim and her husband, Rick, outside their comfort zones in ways they didn’t fully anticipate — physically, mentally, and maybe even a little emotionally. With no full itinerary in hand, there was no planning ahead, no controlling the next step, and no knowing exactly what was coming.

For anyone who knows Kim, you know that going in without the full plan is an adventure in itself. 😉

But that became part of the magic.

The trek was challenging, but manageable. The views were unforgettable. And the people? Even better.

Six travelers, plus an incredible Colombian team, quickly became a little trail family — moving together, encouraging one another, laughing through the unknowns, and embracing the experience as it unfolded.

The landscape was breathtaking, but the warmth, care, and spirit of the people guiding them made the trip truly unforgettable.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the best experiences happen when we loosen our grip, trust the process, and let the next step reveal itself along the way. 🌿

A huge thank you to @exploreterraventure  for giving Kim and Rick such an unforgettable experience. Something tells us this won’t be their last Terra Venture Expedition!
