Kim Pease, Partner and founding member of the team, brings over 30 years of experience selling real estate. A true veteran in the business offering clients an in-depth perspective of multiple real estate cycles. When not working, you will most likely find Kim on the trails, a passionate runner who has run over 20 marathons. An ideal vacation for Kim is anywhere there is a mountain to hike or a yoga room to sweat in. She is known for creating amazing salads by her friends and family and will choose kale over cake…but if you need to know where the best chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies are in town, give her a call.
Kim is a member of the CBRealty “Elite” group and consistently named in the TOP 50 Agents for Coldwell Banker Realty. She has been secretary and treasurer of the Minneapolis Association of Realtors Board of Directors and a full time Realtor since 1989. Kim has owned four different homes in the Cedar Lake area she loves and currently lives on Libbs Lake in the Lake Minnetonka neighborhood.
Our tagline “People, Houses and Enthusiasm” is more than a catchy phrase – it represents how we approach our work and why we do what we do. The people, our clients, has been our focus since the beginning. Kim’s goal was to build a team on client relationships not transactions – and her contagious enthusiam for the business is still just as present as it was 32 years ago.
Interesting Tidbit: The 2nd house Kim and her husband Rick (see below) purchased had multiple offers. The seller was in his 80’s and had a 3-year-old dog for which he had not found a home. Kim and Rick requested to let the dog, Gracie, stay in the house in their offer. They got the house! Gracie ended up being a special part of their lives until she passed away 11 years later. They bought a wonderful dog that came with a house.
Marcy Libby, Partner, originally from Wisconsin and a dual-citizen of Canada and the U.S., also has a passion for running and biking (imagine that) and brings more than 16 years of real estate experience to the PeaseLibby Team. While continuously striving for balance in work-life-family (she’s got three children, is among top producing teams at Coldwell Banker Realty, and still makes time to travel and go on dates with her husband) Marcy’s most recent travels took her to Europe to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary!
Marcy truly loves being a realtor and knowing that she has helped someone through a very important process. Her most favorite aspect of the job is building relationships with the Clients. She is also a numbers guru and has a real knack for digging into market trends and creating numerous spreadsheets. The running joke is that Marcy is both the team accountant and team psychologist.
Her extensive experience with relocating clients is a tremendous asset to the team. So is her affection for bakeries! A current Edina resident and former teacher by trade, Marcy offers our clients much firsthand knowledge about the buying and selling process, and school districts in the area.
Interesting facts: Marcy loves watching the Packers! When Marcy was in second grade she had a short-lived career as a recording artist on a Christmas album. She and her two siblings have the same exact age differences as her three children, the same order in gender, and she and her mom were the same ages for the births of their children!
Kim Hoffman, Client Relations/Marketing Manager joined The PeaseLibby Team in December of 2019. She is certainly no stranger to the team as she and her husband Tom are past clients and have gone through the process several times throughout the years. From living in an old home in the St. Louis Park neighborhood of Fern Hill to having the opportunity to build a new home in the Morningside neighborhood of Edina, she is well versed in the incredible transition moving really is! Also, coincidentally her husband worked in Residential Real Estate for Coldwell Banker Realty for nearly 9 years and had the pleasure of working closely with Kim Pease on many transactions.
Kim is thrilled to be working with the team assisting in all marketing needs, office detail, staging and client support. Her past experiences in careers such as social work, photography, design services and retail provide the foundation for a fresh partnership. She brings to the table a fun energy with great inter-personal skills, creativity and an eye on the market from a consumer perspective. Kim has two teenage children and one awesome spirited Labradoodle named Enzo! She also enjoys running and yoga (this must have been criteria for the job ;-).
Interesting facts: Kim attended the Floral Design school at Koehler and Dramm in Minneapolis and loves making arrangements for her home and for others.
